When a nappy is not The Eco Nappy (......click to go back)

Some people, unhappy with the lack of success
of their products, have started to refer to them
as "eco nappies" "econappies" "eco-nappies" and so on.

Their sites are plastered with all possible spellings and
misspellings of The Eco Nappy.

Ecobaby has been successfully promoting The Eco Nappy
since 1995, with growing sales, happy customers, and
a better environment being some of the results.

As we have exclusively referred to The Eco Nappy as just that,
we can rightfully claim it to be our brand, and one that we have
worked hard to promote.

The other products, some of which are not even nappies (!)
are promoted on websites that misuse internet search engines
to direct people away from sites like ours, to their sites.

We don't even view them as competition.

For example, one site promoting a product that doesn't
bear the teeneest weeneest resemblance to a nappy
flaunts so many versions of the term 'eco nappy' that
it should be a bit obvious as to what they are up to.

We are also aware of ordinary white disposable nappies
being promoted as "Eco Nappies".

We would prefer if site-owners would confine themselves
to promoting their own products on their merits, rather
than trying to use our hard-won brand name
